Try this Chili Garlic Chicken
Fellow curry lovers This time I would like to share this recipe of Indian Chili Garlic Chicken so that you can prepare this cuisine yourself at home!

Ingredients
Pre-cooked chicken
- 1 kg chicken pieces
- 3 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 5 cardamom pods
- 10 black peppercorns
- 1 inch piece of cassia bark or cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 finely chopped large onions
- 400ml chopped tomatoes
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- Salt
Chili Garlic Chicken
- 3 teaspoon canola oil
- 8 garlic cloves (cut into thin slivers)
- 1/2 finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic and ginger paste
- 2 (or more) fresh green chilies, sliced into thin rings
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon mixed powder or curry powder
- 1 teaspoon tandoori masala
- 1/4 cup tomato purรฉe
- 1 1/4 cups heated base curry sauce
- 300g tandoori chicken tikka
- 1 handful of dried garlic flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried fenugreek (methi) leaves
- 2 teaspoon chopped coriander (cilantro)
- Juice of one lime (optional)
- Salt
Methods
Pre-cooked chicken
- Heat the oil over a medium-high flame.
- Add all the spices and bay leaves to the oil.
- Keep stirring to prevent the spices from burning.
- Add the chopped onions.
- Stir well.
- Keep stirring from time to time for about 10 minutes, stirring until the onions become soft and transparent.
- Add a little bit of salt.
- Add the turmeric and mix the ingredients.
- Pour in the chopped tomatoes and cover the pot.
- Add the chicken pieces and water that is able to cover the chicken after about 10 minutes.
- Cover the pot again and simmer the chicken until it is cooked through.
- Remove it from the heat and let’s prepare for the next step
Chili Garlic Chicken
- Heat the oil over a medium flame.
- Add in the garlic and make sure you do not burn the garlic.
- Add the onion and fry for about 3 minutes until it becomes soft and clear.
- Add garlic, ginger paste and chilies and fry for about 20 seconds.
- Increase the heat to medium-high.
- Cook for another 30 seconds after adding the ground spices and tomato purรฉe.
- Keep stirring.
- Add one or two ladles of the base curry sauce and bring it to a rolling simmer.
- If the curry is too dry, add more base. If the curry is too soupy, cook it until the curry becomes thicker.
- Add the pre-cooked chicken and coat with the sauce.
- Keep simmering and add fenugreek leaves.
- Have a taste to check for seasoning.
- Sprinkle the curry with coriander and add the lime juice.
- Done Great Job You can now serve this chili garlic chicken with rice
